Wilmer Peña
Wilmer Peña was born and raised in Honduras, C.A., where he played most of his soccer career. Wilmer joins the Cardiff Sockers after coaching soccer for Oceanside Breakers, FC Golden State North County, JV soccer at Sage Creek High School, and Coastal Academy High School Girls Varsity Soccer.
Wilmer believes that sports and education are the best tools to help young people experience the rewards of hard work as individuals within a team atmosphere. He believes the return on the youth soccer experience will prepare young people for a life of success.

If he is not speaking or watching sports with someone, you can find him staying active through training others to develop their game or running and hiking in the streets and trails of Carlsbad.
