KRAIG CHILES
Kraig Chiles, Executive Director, supervises all of the Cardiff Sockers competitive teams. As players in the club already know, Kraig is a dynamic, knowledgeable, and approachable director and coach who considers every Cardiff Sockers player a member of his “team.” He continues to lead the San Diego Sockers as captain and multi-year MVP, and players delight in cheering for Coach Kraig and saying hello after the games. Kraig also represented the United States as the U.S. Futsal National Team captain, played Major League Soccer with Chivas USA, and captained the men’s team at San Diego State University. Kraig also coordinates and coaches the Marine Corp Recruiting Depot League. As a director, Kraig provides hands-on leadership for our coaches and players, with understanding and support for all our players on their soccer journey.
When Kraig isn’t playing soccer or coaching, he enjoys fishing, snowboarding, boating, and spending time with his family. Kraig and his wife Stacy welcomed twin boys Brady and Austin in 2015, joining daughter Peyton in the Chiles family.
