Abigail dillon
Coach Abigail is originally from Marin County, CA. She’s played competitive soccer for 18 years and is thrilled to be joining the Cardiff Sockers coaching staff — especially alongside her sister, Maegen Dillon!
Coach Abigail played Division I soccer in the Patriot League at American University for four years while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health. After graduation, she continued her playing career at the University of Richmond, competing in the Atlantic-10 Conference while pursuing a Master’s in Business Management.
She grew up playing club soccer for Marin FC ECNL and also represented The Branson School, where she played Varsity soccer all four years. She shares that “soccer has always been a huge part of my life, and I’m excited to help create a positive environment for young players to develop, grow, and have fun. As a player, I was always at my best when I was enjoying the game, and I hope to instill that same sense of joy, confidence, and love for soccer.”
Outside of coaching, Coach Abigail works full-time at Cintas as a Management Trainee. She says, “Getting the chance to coach alongside my sister makes this experience especially meaningful, and I can’t wait to get started."
